Herve has been working as a professional artist since graduating high school with an art scholarship in 1976. He studied via the Art Institute of Minneapolis and the Worcester Art Museum. While working as a staff artist for ad agencies, sign & exhibit graphics companies, and his own business: Leveillee Sign & Design, he has freelanced as a cartoonist. After retiring from the sign/graphics business in 2003 his art transitioned from cartoons to caricatures and have become very popular. He is currently working as a freelance caricature artist.
